Princess was born in Austin, Texas and raised in Dallas, Texas. She returned to Austin to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. This program equipped her with knowledge in client counseling and family dynamics. During her undergraduate studies, Princess advocated for children as a court-appointed special advocate with CASA of Travis County.
After graduating, she attended Texas Tech University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Princess dedicated a semester to the Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic, where she provided neutral, impartial, and confidential services to facilitate discussions between parties, helping them reach a settlement. During her final year of law school, she worked as a student attorney in the Family Law and Housing Clinic, where Princess had the opportunity to represent clients in divorce, custody, landlord-tenant, and adoption matters. Through her advocacy with the Family Law and Housing Clinic, she earned the Ann and Robert J. Burbridge Family Clinic Award, which recognizes the top student in the Family Law Clinic who exemplifies professionalism and goes above and beyond to represent their client. While at Tech Law, Princess also received the Diversity Student Award and the Pro Bono Student of the Year Award, highlighting her commitment to inclusion and her dedication to providing legal assistance to those in need.
Princess demonstrates a strong commitment to her clients by prioritizing their individual goals and advocating for the best interests of children. Since passing the Texas Bar, Princess has dedicated her legal career exclusively to family law in Travis County and the surrounding areas. With experience in handling complex property divisions and sensitive child custody matters, she is deeply committed to helping families navigate challenging legal situations. Princess has a particular passion for crafting unique and tailored custody arrangements that prioritize the best interests of the children while honoring the needs and dynamics of each family.
Princess is a member of the Austin Young Lawyer’s Association and the Family Law Section of the Austin Bar Association. In her spare time, Princess enjoys participating in a book club, playing pickleball, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns.
